Vons Deals 8/18 – 8/24

If you’re new to shopping with coupons at Vons,
please read my simple, “How To Shop at Vons” guide before heading out!

These prices and deals are pulled from my local (Southern CA, Ventura County) VONS weekly ad where one “like” coupon up to 50¢ will double per transaction. Your prices may be slightly different if you are shopping at another Safeway Family Store. Please consult the Vons flyer for a full list of sale items, as not every item is listed here.

Using Vons in-ad coupons: There is a minimum $10 grocery purchase required before you can use a Vons store coupon. Minimum is after club card savings is applied but before manufacturer coupons! There is usually a limit to how many products may be purchased with an in-ad coupon. These limits are per household, per DAY.

Proctor & Gamble “Gifted” Promo:

Earn a $10 coupon good towards a gift card purchase at checkout when you purchase $25 in participating Proctor & Gamble products in a single transaction.

This is a really lame promo in my opinion. First of all, you’re not getting a $10 oyno catalina coupon, you’re getting a $10 coupon towards a gift card. I suppose you might be able to “buy” a Vons gift card if they’re included. Also, unlike their other promotions, you must hit the $25 mark after all in-ad coupons, manufacturer coupons and e-coupons are applied. UGH!

There are countless products participating, but here are a few worth mentioning:

Charmin Bath Tissue, 12 roll | $6.99
Load: $3/1 Charmin e-coupon (this e-coupon is working on the 12 roll)
- 25¢/1 from PG 8/1
Final Price: $3.49

Bounty Paper Towels, 6 to 8 roll | $6.99
Load: $3/1 Bounty e-coupon (this e-coupon is working on the 6-8 roll)
- 25¢/1 from PG 8/1
Final Price: $3.49

Gain Laundry Detergent 40 to 50-oz. liquid or 63-oz. powder | $5.99
Load: $1/1 e-coupon
Final Price: $4.99

Cheer Laundry Detergent 40 to 50-oz. liquid or 63-oz. powder | $5.99
Load: $2/1 Cheer e-coupon
- $2/1 from SS 7/25
Final Price: 99¢

Downy Fabric Softener, 41 to 51-oz. liquid or 100 to 135-ct. sheets | $5.99
Load: $2/1 Downy e-coupon
- $2/1 from PG 8/1
OR – $1/1 from SS 8/15
Final Price: as low as 99¢

Scrubbing Bubbles, 22-oz. | $2.50

- $1/2 from SS 8/1
Final Price: $2.00 each

Tampax, 24 to 120-ct. | $6.99
Load: $1/1 Tampax e-coupon
- $1/1 from PG 8/1
Final Price: $4.99

Olay Body Wash, 23.6-oz. | $6.99
Load: $1.50/1 Olay e-coupon
Final Price: $5.49

Old Spice “Red Zone” Body Wash, 12-oz. | $3.49
Load: $2/2 Old Spice e-coupon
Final price: $2.49 each

Hefty Trash Bags | $5.99
- $1/1 from store in-ad coupon (Limit 3)
- 55¢/1 from RP 8/1

I found some $0.50/1 Totinos party pizza coupons in my box! Not sure where I clipped them, but some expire 8/21 and others 10/9. Cheap pizza at my house this week, lol! Some markets got $0.60/1 coupons for Skippy when SoCal go the $1/2. I bought some from Mycouponhunter.com since we go through so much PB here! My in ad coupon also has limit 4 on the PB&J vs. your 2. Thanks for the match-up!

I just found some $.50/1 any Old El Paso product coupons which will make for some cheap tacos this week too, haha! I get the LA Times & the OC Register so these had to come from one of those. They expire 9/4. I also just realized I have 2 $1/5 coupons on cellfire, and another $1/5 coupon on shortcuts, so my Totinos will be Free or a MM. Woot!

Just got back from Vons YMMV on the olay deal cuz 1 cashier hassled me on the coupons didn't let me use the (2)$1 off MQ coupons and only took off max of $6.99 on ea BOGO said it was considered piggy backing and it wasn't allowed. I did the same deal again with different cashier (guy) who took the 2 $1 off coupons and the BOGO coupons and took off the full amount of $7.19 twice. Just a heads up. Vons can be difficult sometimes.
