Kids Eat FREE at Select Restaurants in California on Tuesday 9/28!

by Jess on September 28, 2010

Did you know that September 28th is officially “Family Day” here in California?

“Family Day” is a national movement launched by The National Center on Addiction Substance Abuse (CASA) and First Lady Maria Shriver that encourages families to spend time doing activities that strengthen the family unit, and what better way to do this then by gathering around the table for a yummy meal!

To celebrate, participating restaurants in California will offer a special Family Day “Kids Eat Free” promotion from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday September 28th:

  • a free child’s meal with the purchase of an entrée (limit two per table) OR
  • a free entrée for a child with the purchase of an adult entrée (limit two per table).

Here are just a few of the restaurants participating (go here for the full list):

For more information, and to find a detailed list of even more participating restaurants head on over here. Just  a heads up, with this promotion being so big it’s probably a good idea to call ahead before heading out just to verify that the restaurant you choose is in fact participating.

(Thanks so much, Megan!)
