CVS: Green Bag Tag Glitch Alert!

Those of you shopping at CVS this week will want to pay close attention to your Green Bag Tag totals at the bottom of your receipt. The registers are experiencing a glitch in the calculation totals and although your tag may be scanned, your credits may not be increasing.

Remember, for every 4th visit that your Green Bag Tag is scanned you should be receiving a $1 ECB at checkout. CVS limits a “visit” to one shopping transaction per day.

If you had your tag scanned and were expecting to earn an ECB, be sure to alert the cashier and they can manually print one for you. If they are unable to do so, or give you trouble, contact CVS customer service at 1.800.SHOP.CVS and they can load the ECB to your card.

At this time CVS is aware of the glitch and plan to have it fixed by January 6th. It’s a good idea to keep track of your visits until the problem is fixed.
