Vons Deals 3/30 – 4/5

If you’re new to shopping with coupons at Vons
please read my simple, “How To Shop at Vons” guide before heading out!

The following deals are pulled from my local (Southern CA, Ventura County) VONS weekly ad where one “like/identical” coupon up to 50¢ will double per transaction. Vons is a SAFEWAY affiliate store.

Using Vons in-ad coupons: There is a minimum $10 grocery purchase requirement before you can use a Vons store coupon. Minimum is after club card savings are applied but before any manufacturer coupons. There is usually a limit to how many products may be purchased with an in-ad coupon. These limits are per household, per DAY.

:!: = Items I consider to be a pretty good price & worth possibly stocking up on.

How to make a printable shopping list:

  • Tick the boxes next to the deals you would like to add to your shopping list.
  • At the bottom of the post click the, “Print My List” button.
  • A new tab will open on your browser with a printable shopping list!

Spring Reward Event

Spend $75 or more in a single transaction using your Vons Club Card & you’ll earn a $10 Catalina coupon at checkout that you can use to pay for pretty much anything you want on your next shopping trip to Vons. An important fact to note:

  • $75 minimum spending requirement is calculated after Vons Club Card savings are applied but before manufacturer coupons. Remember, a coupon isn’t a discount, it’s a form of payment. If for whatever reason your catalina doesn’t print, read this post for help.

So happy to hear you’re finding that new addition helpful!

I’m gonna echo what Dave said. Love the new exclamation point on best deals. It will also help new couponers to know the “buy” price. *Great* idea!

I don’t know if you noticed. The smirnoff vodka is on sale for 15.99. There is a $5 rebate here: http://www.facebook.com/smirnoffus?v=app_10339498918 … That will make it 10.99 after the rebate. and that’s for the big bottle.

The large bottle of Malibu Rum (1.75 liter) is on sale for $16.99 with club card. Use the $2.00 hang tag mfr. coupon to make it $14.99.
If you buy 6 bottles of any liquor, you save an additional 10%.

I am lovin’ that all the men point out the liquor deals. :-) … Thank you! Gonna pick me up some Smirnoff tomorrow!

Went to Vons today, spent $88.00 before coupons and my catalina didn’t print. The store manager said I shouldn’t get a catalina because I didn’t spend $75.00 OOP. When I got home I called Catalina. They will review my transaction and let me know. So we’ll see what happens. I think I should have received one!

From what I’ve been reading, they’ve been having all sorts of troubles with that Cat printing, even without using coupons. Definitely give Catalina marketing a call & they’ll be able to figure it out.

We’ll be shopping at vons tomorrow. If the catalina won’t print out I’ll have them read #12 of their coupon policy online(http://www.vons.com/IFL/Grocery/Coupons-Policy) . We always get problems when shopping at vons.

I had a message on my machine from catalina letting me know I wouldn’t be receiving the CAT for the spend $75 get a $10 CAT, because after coupons my total was $66 not $75. I was surprised! : ( Oh well. Thanks Jess for your Vons match-ups. They’re great!

Oh no! I’m so sorry! Honestly, that promotion was extremely confusing and even Safeway corporate was providing mixed reports over on their Facebook page on if it was before/after coupons. Every other promo with Catalina has been BEFORE manufacturer coupons are factored in. Ugh. What a mess.

Wasn’t your fault at all. I knew there was a possibility of it not printing. I just thought I would give it a try. Just wanted to let you know what happened. Thanks again, love your site.

we had a very bad experience at vons yesterday. We had a cartful of stuffs and our total went above $100. we had lots of free coupons from different companies that we wanted to use but the manager would only take one free coupon. We brought a copy of the vons coupon policy from their website but still he wouldn’t take our coupons. my brother was very frustrated, he didn’t want to leave the store. We left the storm without buying anything and called corporate but they weren’t even helpful. This is not the first time we experienced this though. We already had a couples of times before.
