Home Depot Garden Club Coupons

beansLookie! My green bean plants have sprouted! Don’t be jealous!  ;)

While I am away from home this week, my boyfriend is carrying for my little vegetable garden and sent over pictures for me this morning and I couldn’t help but share with you guys! It’s nothing spectacular, but I can’t help but giddy when I see new plants sprouting up :) We are growing green beans, strawberries, cucumbers, carrots, serrano peppers, jalapeno peppers and even an onion! Hopefully this will get his 2 kids to eat more veggies, but I’m not holding my breath ;)

I wouldn’t underestimate the power of the garden on kids. I grew up with a large garden every summer that my parents planted and we kids loved to eat the fruits and vegetables from it.

My husband was turned on to gardening by his mother and he still loves to grow vegetables and fruit in the summer.

I’m hoping it will spark some interest in them, or at least with the seeds they helped to plant. We’ll see :)

How often do you get email from the Home Depot garden club? I signed up over a month ago and have yet to receive anything but confirmation (and now I can’t find that so maybe I’ll sign up again…)
