About Me
Hi there, thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m Jess and I live in sunny Southern CA. More importantly, I am obsessed with coupons! I’m “That Coupon Girl” in the grocery store with a binder of coupons and calculator in hand. I’m also proud to be that annoying person holding up the line at the store using stacks of coupons to pay $2 for $80 worth of groceries. I hate paying full price.
Like most people, I used to think coupons were a waste of time. I mean – is that 40¢ coupon really going to make a difference? Isn’t the generic brand going to be cheaper anyway? What I didn’t realize at the time is there is a strategy to using a coupon, and when I learned how to successfully combine store sales with coupons 3 years ago, I became hooked! Using coupons quickly became my favorite hobby/obsession. I love finding new ways to stretch my coupons to save the most money.
In late fall of 2009 I was laid off from my job & my coupon hobby became something not only I did for fun, but something I did out of necessity. With a tight budget of only a few dollars to spend on food & household supplies, I have been able to make what could be a very stressful situation turn out ok. I love sharing my deals & strategies with friends & family – and you! I hope you too, become inspired by the endless possibilities of coupons. From saving money - to discovering new thrifty ways to donate generously to those in need, I love living this fabulously, FUN frugal life!

Hi Coupon Lady!
I love your blog! I just stumbled on your twitter page and saw that you are in Ventura County, so I had to check out your site. I’m in Ventura county too and found myself in a similar situation as you. I love couponing, and what I get a lot is, “is it really worth the $1.00 newspaper & the time?” Some people just don’t get it! It took me a while to learn how to use them, and I am getting better. Thanks to you and other sites like yours that help us out through that learning curve! Couponing, while a necessity is fun at the same time.
Thank you for all you share!
